Dental Implants

Replace missing teeth permanently with natural-looking, long-lasting dental implants.

What is Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a titanium post surgically placed into the jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root. Once the implant fuses with the bone (a process called osseointegration), a custom-made crown is attached on top — creating a tooth replacement that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth.

Dr. Aparna Gagare-Ghanwat has performed hundreds of successful implant procedures at Yashashree Dental Family Care, making it one of the most trusted implant clinics in Karve Nagar, Pune.

The Treatment Process

1

Initial Consultation & X-Rays

Dr. Aparna evaluates your bone density, oral health, and medical history. Digital X-rays or CBCT scans are taken to plan the implant placement precisely.

2

Implant Placement Surgery

Under local anaesthesia, a small titanium post is gently placed into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth. The procedure is virtually painless.

3

Healing & Osseointegration

Over the next 3–6 months, the implant fuses with the surrounding bone. A temporary crown may be worn during this period.

4

Abutment Placement

Once healing is complete, a small connector piece called an abutment is attached to the implant to hold the final crown.

5

Crown Placement

A custom-made porcelain crown — matched to your natural tooth colour — is fitted onto the abutment, completing your new tooth.

6

Follow-up & Care

Final adjustments are made and you receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure the longevity of your implant.
